We are pleased to share with everyone our strategic plan for working toward the CACDP vision of a society in which deaf and deafblind people have full access.

CACDP exists to share knowledge and recognise skills in the languages and communication methods used by deaf and deafblind people. In its twenty-five year history nearly 300,000 learners have entered for our assessments and today more than 600 professionals choose CACDP as their registration body. That work has contributed to significant shifts toward a more accessible society.

Over the next three years: We will promote understanding of deaf and deafblind communication issues more widely and target more influential audiences.

We will improve our professional registration service, give free public access to the registers and recognise more professional roles.

We will continue to provide high quality qualifications, expand our range of learner support materials, and work harder to offer more support to teachers and assessors.

The passion and determination of those who built CACDP a quarter of a century ago continues to inspire our work. Their values and principles of partnership are woven through this plan. We look forward to achieving our aims and making effective contributions with new and long-standing partners alike.
