Notetakers
The ACE/Deafblind Registration Panel registers Notetakers in 2 categories:
• Registered Level 2 Notetakers (Manual) or (Electronic)
• Member of the Register of Level 3 Notetakers (Manual) or (Electronic)
Registered Level 2 Notetaker (Manual) or (Electronic)
To be eligible for this category you must have passed CACDP Level 2 Certificate in Note-taking for Deaf People and / or CACDP Level 2 Certificate in Electronic Note-taking for Deaf People
Member of the Register of Level 3 Notetakers (Manual) or (Electronic)
To be eligible for this category you must have passed CACDP Level 3 Certificate for Language Service Professionals working with Deaf and Deafblind People (Notetaking).
By becoming registered, Notetakers are agreeing to be subject to the Notetakers Code of Practice and a Complaints and Disciplinary Procedure.
Although not compulsory for registration, we recommend that Notetakers should be able to supply evidence of:
• CRB Enhanced Disclosure
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII)
