ACE Panel

The ACE/Deafblind Registration Panel registers Lipspeakers, Speech to Text Reporters, LSPs - Deafblind Manual and Manual or Electronic Notetakers.

It is made up of individuals with expertise, experience and status in the Language Service Professional (LSP) fields for which the Panel is responsible. 

The work of the ACE/Deafblind Registration Panel includes:

• Approving applications for   registration

• Setting the criteria for entry to   each category of LSP

• Handling the complaints   procedure and investigating   complaints against LSPs

• Approving and administering   the Policy Statement and   Ethical Code and Code of   Practice for each area

• Promotion and dissemination   of information about the   registration of LSPs
